15 Best Jobs You Can Do From Your Phone – Your smartphone has redefined what it means to work from home and there are a lot of Jobs you can do completely on your phone.

As remote work is becoming more and more popular, technology allows workers to move away from the traditional setup to work from home, which is a home office with a computer at the desk and a phone and notebook in hand.

The work-from-home revolution has transformed the job market for employers and employees alike — eliminating the need for many companies to spend on office spaces and for employees to commute. Of course, not every job can be done from home, but for the ones that can be, it’s becoming harder and harder to lure candidates with in-office requirements.

There are many Jobs you can do completely on your phone as many jobs these days don’t require a dedicated workspace or even a computer.  In fact, it is entirely possible to make money using your smartphone as your only resource.

Here’s a list of jobs you can do from your phone.

1. Virtual assistant

A virtual assistant is a self-employed worker who specializes in offering administrative services to clients from a remote location, usually a home office. Typical tasks a virtual assistant might perform include scheduling appointments, making phone calls, making travel arrangements, and managing email accounts.

A Virtual assistant makes the lives of all those who are too busy to take care of the mundane a lot easier, and without them, no high-flier would be able to concentrate on productive elements of their business and life and achieve and handle all that they do,” said Riley Beam, managing attorney at Douglas R. Beam, P.A.

“Despite being highly crucial, a VA’s job is quite simple and in most cases, can easily be handled on the phone. Today’s smartphones do almost everything anyway, from accessing emails to handling multiple apps, so there’s no reason why a VA from Gen Z cannot handle their entire portfolio of responsibilities via their phones alone.”

According to Indeed, the average hourly pay for a virtual assistant in the U.S. is $22.08.

2. Tech Support Specialist

A Technical Support Specialist, or an IT Support Specialist, is responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to computer hardware or software devices.

“With some knowledge of particular types of software, you can troubleshoot clients’ technical issues over the phone just as easily as on a desktop computer,” said James Rice, head of marketing at Picked.

Derrick Haywood, chief content officer at CozySeating, agreed. “Many tech support vacancies have just a smartphone as a hardware requirement. Tech support jobs can range from gaming custom support to website navigation support. Most companies pay their remote tech support persons an average [salary] of about $35,000.”

3. Content Writer

Content Writer is an individual who works for marketing agencies and in-house advertising departments to produce engaging written pieces for digital and print media. Content Writers can write on a range of subjects, which their clients can then use to advertise their services or educate consumers on topics relevant to their brand.

“Blog and article writing” can be done on the phone, especially with how fast Gen Zers are able to text. You can download the Google Drive app and write articles from there. This is super simple and can be done from anywhere, whether it’s on a long car ride or at a friend’s house,” said Ashley Davis, co-founder of CatProductGuide.com.

A freelance content writer may expect to make around $23 an hour, according to Indeed, but this varies widely depending on your experience and what you’re able to charge.

4. Social Media Influencer

A Social Media Influencer is a user on social media who has established credibility in a specific industry. These content creators have access to a large audience and can share information to persuade others through their authenticity and reach. Social media influencers often partner with brands, promoting products or services to followers in exchange for monetary compensation, free products, or discounts.

“A job that exists now that didn’t before is affiliate marketing – or being some kind of social media ‘influencer,’” said Carter Seuthe, CEO of Credit Summit Consolidation.

“Before the rise of social media, those who promoted products were mainly traditional celebrities, and these promotions would occur on TV commercials, billboards and magazines. Today, almost any person with a following can get involved with affiliate marketing and promote products via their social media platforms. Since Gen Z is typically the most current and savvy with social media, they are often the best candidates for this type of job.”

Indeed puts the average salary for an influencer at $53,632 a year. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a large follower base before you can net any kind of brand deal.

5. Language Tutor

A language tutor teaches foreign languages to native English speakers.

With the advent of a global market economy and relatively cheap long-haul flights, speaking another language has never been as important or popular as it is today.

Whether it be for business or personal reasons, speaking a foreign language opens up a world of possibilities and opportunities for further learning. It is a well known fact that the only way to understand another culture completely is by learning its language, as nuances in grammar, diction and etymology are bound to the history and character of those who speak it.

“If you’re a proficient speaker, you can help others learn how to speak a new language or polish their skills. Various online platforms allow tutors to interact with pupils and pay a fixed hourly rate,” Rice said.

“In most cases, the only talent you need is a strong command of your original tongue,” added Steve Anderson, CEO of Junk-Yard-Near-Me. “A fluent English speaker with a smartphone may earn around $10 per hour using a tool like NiceTalk.”

A reseller is a brand, company or individual (merchant) that purchases goods or services with the intention of selling them rather than consuming or using them.

You can make a big profit by selling your items on sites like eBay or Poshmark.

Inexpensive items can be purchased from your favourite reseller site, then fixed, take good photos, and provide a storefront with professional looking flyers on your phone.

Postal items can also be ordered online and items can be picked up directly from your home for shipment wherever you like.

7. Social Media Specialist

A Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and publishing content on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, to grow an audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately, boost sales.

If you have a phone, you can access Twitter, Instagram, etc., and you may scroll through your own accounts regularly.  Why not make money while doing something similar on behalf of someone else’s brand?  From celebrity influencers on social media to companies valued at millions of dollars, and even small businesses in the corner, social media has become the primary way in which people develop their branding, interact with customers, and advertise products in a way that does not seem like an advertisement.  Social media professionals understand their company’s mission and work hard to find and share interesting content to attract clients.

Reports have it that you can make an average of $ 13 an hour with them – you can set your own rates, but you’ll generally want to start low and gradually increase your rates as you win students.

Blog articles can be written remotely, yes, even on your phone: you just have to be able to search, write and publish your articles using your device.  One thing to remember: In this case, AutoCorrect is not your friend.  When writing on the phone, be sure to proofread before sending an article to an editor.

12. Market research

Market research is an organized effort to gather information about target markets and customers: know about them, starting with who they are. It is an important component of business strategy and a major factor in maintaining competitiveness. – Wikipedia.

Organizations need information about who is buying what and why.  While demographics and sales trends can be tracked using data, customer feedback is a key factor that can help analysts understand their numbers and increase the effectiveness of their marketing.  If you have a phone, you can call customers and find out how they rate the company’s product by taking surveys over the phone.  Sure, while this is the phone equivalent of a marketing email asking you to rate and review your purchases, and while you may pause (a lot), collecting this research can also earn you a little extra cash without ever having to set foot in a room.

You can make videos, share meal plans, and be there for clients by text or phone when they have a question or crisis entirely from your phone.

Coaching can be a very rewarding job when you witness people’s health transformations and know you helped them along the way.
