NFTs: How to Create Account and Mint Your NFTs on OpenSea

OpenSea is a decentralized non-fungible token (NFT) market for buying, selling, and exchanging NFTs.

OpenSea is an American online non-fungible token marketplace headquartered in New York City. The company was founded by Devin Finzer and Alex Atallah in 2017.

– STEP 1
Go to the site of OpenSea then click Create.

– STEP 2
You need an ethereum wallet like metamask and other wallets to proceed.

– STEP 3
Click Get MetaMask and click install Metamask from Chrome. Download Google Chrome.

– STEP 4
Click the profile icon on the right side corner then create profile by clicking My Profile.

– STEP 5
Sign in to your wallet (use the same browser where you install metamask) and connect your wallet to OpenSea by clicking connect.

– STEP 6
After step #5, you have it.

Once you have connected the cryptocurrency wallet, you can mint your NFTs.

– STEP 1
On your app, go to your profile and click “My Collection” then “Create.”

– STEP 2
Type in the details of your collection, including the name, description, banner, and social media accounts.

– STEP 3
Click “Create” to submit your collection for approval.

– STEP 4
Navigate to the collection homepage to add items to your collection.

– STEP 5
Click on “Add new item” and drag and drop your file to the box provided.

– STEP 6
Add a name and a description of your product.

– STEP 7
Select if it’s “Unlockable Content,” meaning it has some special content hidden within it.

– STEP 8
Input the number of copies that can be minted and select the issuing blockchain.

– STEP 9
Tap on “Create,” and your new NFT will appear on your collection.

You have now created your OpenSea collection. You can now sell your NFT at a set price or auction it to the highest bidder for a 2.5% transaction fee.

NFTs created on OpenSea will only be visible on other platforms after being transferred or bought. This is because they aren’t minted onto the blockchain until they are transferred to another wallet or are purchased.
